Role Overview:

Document Controller is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all project-related and administrative documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage all incoming and outgoing documents in both digital and physical formats.
  • Ensure documents are filed, labeled, and stored according to company procedures.
  • Track, update, and control document versions, revisions, and approvals.
  • Distribute documents to relevant departments and ensure timely retrieval.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain logs, registers, and documentation records.
  • Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive information.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and clients for document submissions.
  • Review documents for accuracy, formatting, and completeness.
  • Support project teams by providing required documents on time.
  • Manage document archiving and retrieval processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Document Controller or in an administrative role.
  • Strong organizational and file-management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with document control systems or DMS software (preferred).
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Strong time-management and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

  • Experience in construction, engineering, oil & gas, or corporate environments.
  • Knowledge of ISO documentation standards.
  • Basic knowledge of administrative procedures and archiving systems.
