Job Vacancy: Document Controller

We are currently seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our team.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Document Control or Records Management.
  • Proven experience in handling controlled documents within a structured document management system.
  • Bilingual (English & Arabic) – written and spoken
  • Strong background in:
  • Document registration and numbering
  • Document transmittal's (incoming & outgoing)
  • Revision control and change tracking
  • Maintaining document logs and registers
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with Document Management Systems (DMS) such as:
  • Aconex
  • SharePoint
  • Documentum
  • OpenText (or similar systems)

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • Professional certification in Document Control or Records Management is preferred.
  • Prior project-based experience is an added advantage.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Document Management Skills

Proficient in managing both electronic and physical documents, ensuring they are well organized, easily accessible, and compliant with company and regulatory requirements.

  • Attention to Detail

Strong focus on accuracy and precision in document handling to prevent errors and maintain high-quality standards.

  • Communication Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with various departments and external stakeholders.

  • Organizational Skills

Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

  • Technical Proficiency

Familiarity with document management software and tools to enhance efficiency in document control processes.
