Dump Truck Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Tri Axle Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for saftely operating dump trucks to transport and deliver materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, ashpalt, millings or other bulk materials to various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and vehicle operation will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties

• Operate dump trucks with manual transmission efficiently across diverse routes, ensuring safe handling and compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations
• Maintain detailed paperwork, fuel consumption, and vehicle inspections to ensure operational transparency and compliance.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify mechanical issues or safety hazards, reporting any concerns promptly
• Follow designated routes and schedules diligently to meet project deadlines while optimizing fuel efficiency and route safety
• Keeping the truck clean

Experience

• Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a focus on dump trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles
• Familiarity with manual transmission operation and truck driving regulations in accordance with local laws
• Prior experience driving tri-axle dump trucks is highly desirable
• Prior experience involving asphalt, millings, road construction procedures across various terrains and environments
• Knowledge of route planning, freight handling, and safety protocols for heavy vehicle operation
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for dump trucks

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
