Dump Truck Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, and other bulk freight to various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route navigation, and load management will ensure timely deliveries and smooth operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction, landscaping, or waste management projects while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Duties

• Operate dump trucks with manual transmission efficiently and safely across designated routes
• Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks
• Drive tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, or tanker trucks as needed for different freight types
• Ensure all freight is secured properly before transit and during loading/unloading procedures
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, routes, fuel consumption, and vehicle inspections
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations to prevent accidents or violations
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and pickups

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Proven experience in truck driving, including dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or roll-off trucks
• Familiarity with manual transmission operation and route driving techniques
• Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or other equipment when necessary
• Knowledge of safety standards related to freight transport and vehicle maintenance
• Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or freight hauling is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
