Duties

• Safely operate dump trucks, including tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, and flatbed vehicles, to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, or debris.
• Load and unload freight accurately using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary.
• Drive along designated routes while maintaining compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Conduct routine inspections of trucks before and after trips to ensure mechanical safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with the loading of materials onto refrigerated trailers or tanker trucks when required.
• Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, routes taken, and vehicle maintenance records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate pickups and drop-offs efficiently.

Experience

• Proven experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles such as tractor-trailers or roll-off trucks.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for manual transmission and tanker operations preferred.
• Familiarity with freight handling, load & unload procedures, route driving, and safety protocols.
• Experience working with refrigerated trailers or flatbed trucks is a plus.
• Knowledge of truck driving regulations and safety standards applicable to commercial driving environments.
