E-Commerce Operations Manager

India

Key Responsibilities

Marketplace & D2C Management

● Oversee daily operations across marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto) and

FirstEdge’s D2C website.

● Monitor inventory levels & organise FBA shipments and dark store replenishments

● Track and resolve logistics issues related to delayed, lost, or damaged shipments.

● Manage order processing, dispatches, return handling, and timely fulfilment.

● Improve operational efficiency by automating & streamlining processes

● Monitor platform SLAs and ensure seller account health across channels.

Listings & Catalog Management

● Create and upload new product listings with images, pricing, and keywords

● Keep catalog information accurate and updated across all platforms

Issue Resolution & Platform Coordination

● Liaise with Amazon, Flipkart, and quick commerce support teams to resolve issues

● Address and fix problems related to inventory discrepancies, payment disputes, listing

errors, and delivery failures

Reporting & Performance Tracking

● Track daily sales, returns, and platform metrics across marketplaces and D2C.

● Maintain dashboards for order fulfilment, customer issues, and platform performance.

● Prepare weekly/monthly reports with insights and actionable recommendations.

● Identify recurring issues and work cross-functionally to implement process

improvements.

Customer Relations

● Respond to customer queries across all platforms, emails, WhatsApp, and social DMs.

● Handle complaints, returns, and replacements with speed and empathy.

● Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and reduce resolution time.

Who We Would Like

● 1–4 years of experience in ecommerce operations or marketplace management.

● Proficient with Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, and D2C tools (e.g. Shopify).

● Strong with Excel/Google Sheets and reporting tools.

● Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive problem-solver.

● Clear communicator who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.

● Bonus: Experience or interest in sports, fitness, or consumer brands.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
