Your Role
- Develop, test, and deploy EDI transactions including but not limited to 837, 835, 270/271, 276/277, and 999
Work with trading partners to establish and maintain EDI connections (SFTP, AS2, etc.)
Collaborate with business analysts and internal stakeholders to gather integration requirements and define mapping specifications
Perform data mapping and translation using EDI tools or integration platforms
Monitor daily EDI transaction processing and troubleshoot errors, rejections, and issues
Support onboarding of new trading partners, including setup, testing, and production cutover
Ensure HIPAA compliance in all data exchanges and maintain thorough documentation
Participate in the development of APIs or other integration solutions as needed
Maintain logs, technical documentation, and system configurations
Provide support during audits and ensure data integrity across systems
Your Profile
- In EDI development or integration within the healthcare industry
Strong experience with ANSI X12 formats, especially 837, 835, 270/271
Hands-on experience with EDI mapping, translation, and integration tools
Understanding of HIPAA compliance, healthcare claims processing, and payer/provider data flows
Proficiency in scripting languages and SQL for data manipulation
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
