Editor in Chief

We at Talent Corner Hr Services are having an exciting opportunity for one of our client in Mumbai:

Job responsibilities:

• Define and implement the editorial vision in alignment with political and strategic objectives.
• Lead the editorial team to deliver compelling, insightful, and timely content tailored to the political discourse of Maharashtra and beyond.
• Maintain editorial consistency, tone, accuracy, and quality across all content published in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
• Ensure regional and linguistic nuances are well-represented and culturally contextualized.
• Guide sub-editors, language experts, and translators to ensure linguistic integrity.
• Build, mentor, and inspire a team of writers, journalists, content strategists, and social media editors.
• Lead the evolution of content for digital platforms—short-form content, reels, explainers, live updates, interactive formats, etc.
• Work closely with client servicing teams to align editorial output with campaign strategies.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Political Science, or a related field.

• Minimum 10+ years of editorial/content experience with at least 5 years in a leadership/editorial head role.

• Fluency and excellence in English, Hindi, and Marathi—both written and spoken.

• Deep knowledge of Maharashtra’s political landscape, culture, and regional sentiments.
