Employee Relations Officer

We are looking for an experienced Employee Relations Officer to join our HR team and manage employee relations activities within a large-scale construction environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in handling a diverse workforce, resolving employee concerns, and promoting a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee relations matters in compliance with company policies, UAE Labor Law, and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary cases, investigations, and workplace concerns with fairness and confidentiality.
  • Conduct regular site visits and labor camp inspections to understand workforce concerns and ensure employee welfare standards.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, feedback sessions, suggestion schemes, and communication programs.
  • Provide guidance and counselling to employees and managers on HR policies, workplace issues, conduct, attendance, and employee concerns.
  • Manage employee retention initiatives through feedback analysis, engagement activities, and improvement recommendations.
  • Support resignation, exit interviews, separation processes, clearance procedures, and related HR documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee relations records, including grievance reports, disciplinary actions, investigations, and HR correspondence.
  • Prepare HR reports and insights related to employee relations cases, workforce trends, engagement, and welfare matters.
  • Collaborate with project teams, line managers, and leadership to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Employee Relations / HR Operations.
  • Preferably experience in the construction, contracting, or large-scale project industry.
  • Strong experience managing employee relations for a large and multicultural workforce.
  • Good knowledge of UAE Labor Law and HR practices.
  • Excellent communication, counselling, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle sensitive employee matters professionally.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Construction: 6 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • UAE DRIVING LICENSE MANDATORY (Preferred)
