Manager, Business Development – UAE & Saudi Arabia (Enterprise Geospatial)
This UAE-based position is responsible for driving business development and sales engagement activities across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and GCC markets. The role requires a deep understanding of the Geospatial, GIS, AEC, and Digital Transformation industries.
A key focus will be acquiring new business, developing new customer relationships, and generating repeat business for Ceinsys in the region.
Key Functions
- Research, identify, and proactively position Ceinsys solutions in the UAE, Saudi Arabian, and GCC markets.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of local market dynamics, customer needs, and business strategies.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
- Reach out to targeted prospects through cold calling, email engagement, and LinkedIn outreach to generate qualified leads.
- Understand and interpret customers’ operational, financial, and regulatory drivers to propose tailored solution offerings.
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle—from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and closure.
- Grow the sales pipeline by leveraging the company’s core competencies and solution portfolio.
- Deliver solution demos and engage in detailed discussions on features, technical aspects, and business benefits to customers.
- Build, maintain, and expand strong relationships with existing customers.
- Lead commercial negotiations and finalize agreements to successfully close opportunities.
- Provide inputs for preliminary costing, including effort estimates and BOM preparation, in collaboration with internal teams and OEM partners.
- Identify innovative solutions to address customer challenges and business obstacles.
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and delivery teams to align sales strategies with organizational objectives.
- Anchor and manage RFP/RFQ responses, ensuring high-quality content and timely submissions.
- Identify new markets, sectors, and emerging business opportunities within the region.
- Conduct meetings with prospective customers to understand requirements and create demand for solutions.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets and ensure accurate forecasting.
- Prepare business development presentations, proposals, and regular MIS reports.
- Represent the organization at industry trade shows, exhibitions, events, and product demonstrations.
Key Skills Required
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in business development or enterprise sales within the GIS / Geospatial industry.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in UAE and/or Saudi Arabian markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering with MBA in Marketing preferred.
- Strong experience in key account management, account qualification, and risk management.
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality with strong commitment and a drive to succeed.
- Strong business acumen with excellent conceptual and analytical skills.
- Experience in bid preparation, tender management, and proposal development.
- Solid understanding of commercial processes, pricing models, and profitability.
- Willingness to travel frequently for business engagements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Deep industry knowledge and strong business sense.
- Familiarity with digital sales platforms and modern CRM tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Required Industry Background:
Candidates with experience from the GIS / Geospatial, Mapping, Location Intelligence, or Digital Engineering sectors to apply.
Professionals currently working with or previously employed at companies such as:
ESRI, RMSI, Woolpert, WSP, Egis, Avineon, Rolta, IIC Technologies, Khatib & Alami, iSpatial Techno Solutions, Micromap, AAM Group, Fugro, Hexagon Geospatial, Trimble, Bentley Systems, HERE Technologies, or similar geospatial solution providers are highly preferred.
