ERP Administrator

SUMMARY: The ERP Administrator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Prime Metal Buildings’ ERP system. This entry- to mid-level role works closely with Accounting, Purchasing, Receiving, Production, and HR to ensure data accuracy, streamline workflows, and improve system usability.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide day-to-day ERP system support to Accounting, Purchasing, Receiving, Production, and Sales users.
  • Create and maintain employee user accounts, roles, and permissions in accordance with internal controls and security standards.
  • Assist with item, vendor, customer, and BOM record setup and maintenance to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Build and modify saved searches, reports, KPIs, and dashboards to support operational and management reporting needs.
  • Support Purchasing and Receiving by troubleshooting transaction issues, item receipts, and three-way match discrepancies.
  • Partner with Accounting to help maintain proper GL mapping, classifications, and transaction workflows.
  • Assist with basic workflow configuration, form customization, and field creation to improve efficiency and data capture.
  • Monitor system data for errors, duplicates, and integrity issues and perform routine cleanup activities.
  • Document standard ERP processes, procedures, and training materials for internal users.
  • Provide end-user training and guidance on ERP best practices and Prime-specific workflows.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Business, or a related field OR equivalent hands-on NetSuite experience is preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience working with an ERP in a user, support, or administrative capacity is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of ERP concepts including transactions, item records, purchasing, inventory, and reporting.
  • Experience with saved searches, standard reports, and dashboard creation.
  • Strong data accuracy skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, lookups, basic formulas).
  • Ability to learn Prime’s manufacturing, purchasing, receiving, and accounting workflows.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requests across departments.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users.
