About Your Team

You’ll be joining a collaborative and forward-thinking team of professionals who are passionate about delivering excellence in construction and engineering. Our estimating team plays a critical role in shaping project outcomes by providing accurate cost assessments, identifying value opportunities, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Your Role

As an Estimating Engineer, you will

• Work with Lead Estimating Engineers to prepare/develop accurate tender proposals based on company standard procedure, database, supplier’s/subcontractors offers and tender requirements.
• Verify the Completeness of tender documents, report to Estimating Engineer about missing documents, if any.
• Review/study the tender documents and send Request for proposal to subcontractors and suppliers
• Prepare, monitor, amend and price Bills of Quantities in CCS (Candy)
• Liaise with internal Measurement Team for any quantity adjustments
• Liaise with internal Procurement Team for obtaining market quotations
• Assist in the review, analyzation and comparison of quotations received from suppliers/subcontractors
• Prepare and discuss tender deviations for submission

What We’re Looking For

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or certification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.

Technical Requirements

• Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes for Building Type Projects
• Be able tread and understand drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of first principles estimating to Labour, Plant and Materials construction costs
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with estimation software ideally CCS (Candy)

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Building Construction Estimation
• Not essential but experience in Large Construction Project s 1Bn+
• Not essential but experience in Data Centers

Skills

• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Good attention to detail with accuracy in calculations.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under supervision.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems, technologies, and methods .
