Estimation Engineer ( Fitout)

As an Estimation Engineer specializing in Interior Fit Out, you will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out projects. Your role will involve working closely with project managers, architects, and suppliers to determine material and labor costs. You will need to analyze blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to prepare detailed estimates.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project documents, including blueprints, specifications, and scope of work.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers and architects to understand project requirements.
• Source and negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Review project designs and propose cost-saving alternatives.
• Develop and maintain a database of material and labor costs.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits.
• Present estimates to clients and respond to their queries.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in estimating interior fit-out projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• 5–10 years of estimation experience in the UAE covering civil, fit-out, and joinery projects.
• Strong technical understanding of Structural & civil work, Architectural finishes, Joinery production and installation processes
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software.
• Strong knowledge of UAE supplier and subcontractor market.
• UAE experience is mandatory.
