Estimator (Australian Residential Construction)

Some of the key responsibilities include:

· Ensure relationships with internal and external customers, supervisors, suppliers, trades people, agents and contractors are maintained and improved
· Produce Purchase / Work orders and quantity take-offs in a timely manner
· Provide margin reports
· Request and interpret quotations
· Ensure jobs are cost effective and profitable
· Assist in Workflow of jobs in production
· Manage price files and price updates.

To be considered, you should possess:

· Minimum of 3 years' experience in an estimating role
· Previous experience within the volume home building industry is preferred
· Qualification in Building / Construction and/or trade experience is highly desirable
· Working knowledge of the Building and Construction process
· Exposure to estimating systems constructor is highly advantageous
· Ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet deadlines
· Self-motivated and desire to succeed
· Strong work ethic and attention to detail
· Exceptional time management skills
· Ability to solve problems in a logical and systematic manner
