Estimator - Civil Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Estimator with a strong background in high-rise building construction in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing tender documents, and supporting the tendering process for civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze tender drawings, specifications, BOQ, and contract documents.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil and structural works of high-rise building projects.
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and project documents.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare tender submissions, cost breakdowns, and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams during the estimation process.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
• Maintain updated records of material costs, labor rates, and market pricing in the UAE.
• Assist management in budget preparation and project feasibility studies.
• Ensure all estimates comply with UAE construction standards and project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field is mandatory
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in UAE as a Civil Estimator is mandatory
• Mandatory experience in high-rise building construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction market, materials, and subcontractor pricing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software.
• Good understanding of BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, and tender procedures.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with value engineering and cost control.
• Ability to work under tight tender deadlines.
• Experience working with main contractors in the UAE construction sector.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
