Estimator-Joinery divison

job Role & Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for joinery works including kitchens, wardrobes, counters, wall panels, doors, and custom furniture
• Study drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents to understand project scope
• Take accurate quantity take-offs from shop drawings and IFC drawings
• Price materials such as MDF, plywood, veneers, laminates, solid wood, hardware, fittings, finishes, and accessories
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers, subcontractors, and manufacturers
• Coordinate with design, production, and site teams to ensure estimates are practical and competitive
• Prepare rate analysis, cost breakdowns, and value engineering proposals
• Compare tender drawings with site conditions and highlight discrepancies
• Assist in budget control, cost monitoring, and variation pricing during project execution
• Maintain updated costing databases for materials, labor, and production
• Support project managers during contract negotiations and clarifications

Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related field
• 2–5 years experience as a Joinery Estimator (UAE/GCC experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of joinery materials, finishes, hardware, and manufacturing processes
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software (if applicable)
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and interior details
• Good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
