Estimator- Landscape experience

Perfect Technical Works and Landscaping LLC (PTWL) is seeking a detail-oriented Landscape Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, bid proposals, and quantity take-offs for landscaping projects, including softscape, hardscape, irrigation, lighting, and site development works. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate closely with design, operations, and project management teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesEstimating & Cost Development

• Review landscape plans, construction drawings, specifications, and project scope.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for softscape, hardscape, irrigation, lighting, grading, and site works.
• Conduct quantity take-offs for materials such as plants, turf, soil, stone, pavers, and irrigation components.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Develop competitive bid packages, proposals, and budget pricing.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, design alternatives, and value engineering options.

Coordination & Communication

• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client consultations when required.
• Work closely with landscape architects, designers, project managers, and operations teams.
• Communicate clarifications and scope queries to clients, consultants, and vendors.
• Support project handover and cost breakdowns once contracts are awarded.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain cost databases, vendor price lists, and historical project records.
• Prepare bid summaries, cost comparisons, and risk assessments.
• Ensure estimates comply with company standards and industry regulations.

QualificationsEducation

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, Horticulture, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of estimating experience in the landscaping industry in the UAE.
• Experience with both softscape and hardscape estimation is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plant materials, soils, irrigation systems, and landscape construction techniques.

Skills

• Ability to read and interpret landscape architecture drawings and construction documents.
• Proficiency with estimating software (such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Aspire, LMN) and MS Office.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and meet tight deadlines.
