Job Purpose:

The Events Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the organization’s full annual events calendar. This includes internal events, local and international events, conferences, sponsorships, exhibitions, booths, and speaking engagements. The role is responsible for delivering high-quality, well-executed events that support the organization’s brand, objectives, and stakeholder engagement goals.


Roles & Responsibilities:

Events Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and manage the organization’s annual events calendar in alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Plan and execute a wide range of events, including internal events, conferences, exhibitions, sponsorship activations, booths, and speaking engagements.
  • Lead end-to-end event planning, from concept development and logistics to on-site execution and post-event evaluation.

Logistics & Execution

  • Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including venues, suppliers, production, branding, travel, accommodation, and on-site management.
  • Ensure events are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard of quality.
  • Manage event timelines, risk assessments, and contingency plans.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders across departments to understand objectives and ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, venues, and partners.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for event-related stakeholders and partners.

Budget & Financial Management

  • Develop, manage, and track the events budget, ensuring cost control and value for money.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to optimize spend.
  • Monitor event costs and report on budget performance.

Brand Representation & Evaluation

  • Ensure consistent brand representation across all events and touchpoints.
  • Oversee event-related materials, signage, booths, and collateral in coordination with relevant teams.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations, reporting on outcomes, learnings, and ROI.


Job Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in managing a diverse portfolio of events, including conferences, exhibitions, sponsorships, and international events.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
