IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

• To manage end-to-end Operations and Maintenance of the Fixed Access Network in District DG Khan (Tehsils DG Khan, Taunsa, Kot Chutta, and tribal areas) under Manager Field Operations DG Khan (MTR Region, Central Zone). The role is responsible for O&M of switching and access network equipment, including power plants (DC, AC, solar), DG sets, air-conditioning systems, batteries, rectifiers, GPON and BO support, microwave links, DRS services for PTCL nodes and corporate customers, as well as USF sites, ensuring high network availability, service quality, and compliance with PTCL standards.

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT

• Ensure network operational efficiency by maintaining year-to-date KPIs, including wireline network availability of 99.90%, core switch and MSU network availability of 99.99%, and GPON OLT network availability of 99.99%.
• Drive operations management excellence by ensuring 100% PMR of all nodes each quarter, 100% snag clearance within defined timelines (90 days for QA MSAG health checks, 30 days for QA FDH GPON health checks), full closure of EHS critical site inspection observations, compliance with MSAG QA audits, and maintaining YTD technical SQI below 4.
• Enhance customer experience by achieving overall Flash Fiber (FF) CHI of ≥ 93.5% as per defined criteria, providing BO support for maxed-out VDSL sites through ATF and RFS, managing bandwidth expansion for MSAN, MSAG, and DSLAM, ensuring effective port testing and fault localization, improving hardware health through timely vendor repairs and procurement-led refurbishments, and maintaining MTTR at minimal levels across corporate, EVO, and consumer services.
• Deliver cost-saving and cost-avoidance efficiencies by achieving 4% year-on-year commercial power savings and 7% reduction in backup generator fuel consumption (subject to power availability trends and excluding large-scale grid failures), ensuring 100% implementation of approved cost-saving projects within agreed timelines, and managing projects including pre-PAT processing, testing, QA offerings, and rapid settlement of PAT deficiencies.
• Strengthen employee engagement and capability by assigning clear job responsibilities, conducting regular one-to-one performance review and feedback sessions on a monthly and quarterly basis, completing 100% performance dialogue check-ins and PM reviews within P&O timelines, and ensuring full participation in technical, EHS, administrative, HR, and capability development training sessions.
• Ensure full compliance with EHS and governance requirements by implementing PTCL policies, maintaining safe working practices, and ensuring adherence across all operational activities.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• Bachelor in Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
