AMJ Group Inc., a boutique real estate company is seeking an articulate, polished and poised Executive Assistant to the President and other company executives. The position is in a dynamic, fast-paced setting that requires the ability to multi-task and remain resilient to both change and varying intensity of workload. Must have keen attention to detail and flexibility to handle shifting priorities with grace under pressure.
COMPANY: Founded in 1977, AMJ Group Inc. is one of the leading commercial and multi-family real estate development firms in North Central Florida. The majority of the operations and holdings are based in Gainesville but the portfolio spans to many other areas of Florida. We have a long term approach to real estate – through development and construction; revitalization; leasing and management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· High-level and confident in: written and verbal communication, use of proper grammar, use of English language, calendaring, and travel arranging skills
· Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
· Emotional maturity and trustworthy with impeccable moral standards
· Ability to work in an environment where priorities may suddenly shift
· Demonstrated ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines.
· Handle highly confidential matters with discretion and respect.
· Proactively prepares high quality presentation materials and reports.
· Participate in the development, implementation and improvement of office policies / procedures.
· Serve as a communication liaison for the executive/s; composes responses to routine inquires.
· Research and prepares a variety of reports, such as meeting materials and presentations.
· Proofs and edits reports as needed, including review of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
· Provide other administrative assistance as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERENCES:
· Bachelor's degree
· Prior experience as an executive assistant
· Basic understanding of financial concepts and basic accounting.
· Strong work tenure with five to ten years of experience supporting C-Level type executives
· Experience in communications and providing excellent customer service
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, Social Media web platforms, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
