Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the entire kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Plan, develop, and implement menus in line with client requirements, budget, and nutritional standards.
- Maintain strict control over food costing, budgeting, and inventory management to achieve cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality standards (HACCP / ISO standards preferred).
- Supervise food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet high standards of quality and consistency.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen facilities, equipment, and storage areas.
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams for timely availability of raw materials.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations for kitchen staff.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for kitchen operations.
- Handle administrative tasks including duty rosters, payroll inputs, and staff scheduling.
- Manage client feedback and ensure customer satisfaction through consistent food quality and service.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or related field from a recognized institute.
- 8–9 years of proven experience as a Chef in industrial catering or large-scale kitchen operations.
- Strong expertise in food costing, budgeting, and menu planning.
- Excellent knowledge of large-scale food production, nutrition, and special dietary requirements.
- Strong leadership, team management, and administrative skills.
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and HACCP practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver within deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
