JOB PURPOSE: The Central Executive Sous Chef is responsible for supervising, coordinating and controlling all kitchen activities and food preparation while following all policies and procedures related to hygiene, health and safety standards.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and oversee the production of high-quality meals, adhering to quality standards, brand specifications, and presentation guidelines, ensuring dishes are served on schedule.
  • Adhere to the organization's HS&E policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions. Implement brand-specific hygiene procedures and ensure ongoing compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Coach team members to develop their skills, including training kitchen staff in new recipes and cooking techniques to enhance efficiency and food production capabilities.
  • Assist in developing new menu items and recipes in accordance with brand image, guidelines, and standards.
  • Adhere to mandatory procedures for quality and regulatory compliance while supervising kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and adherence to hygiene, health, and safety standards.
  • Monitor food costs to track budgets and support cost control efforts.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Fluency in English
  • High school degree
  • Certification in Culinary, or Hotel Management, or a related field
  • Four to six years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge in inventory software
