- An Export Documentation Executive prepares and manages all paperwork for international shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations and smooth logistics. Key duties include creating pre- and post-shipment documents like invoices and packing lists, coordinating with freight forwarders and customs, and maintaining organized records. Key responsibilities
- Document preparation: Create and process all required export documents, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and bills of lading.
- Regulatory compliance: Ensure all documentation adheres to international, country-specific, and customs regulations.
- Coordination: Liaise with various parties including shippers, freight forwarders, banks, customs brokers, and suppliers to coordinate shipments and resolve document queries.
- Record keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of all export transactions for billing and audit purposes.
- Logistics support: Assist with logistical aspects, such as coordinating container arrangements and tracking shipments until delivery.
- Communication: Prepare daily reports and inform customers about shipment status, including any delays or early arrivals.
