Job Summary

We are looking for an Export Sales Manager for one of our clients in the chemical manufacturing sector. They will play a key role in formulating the Export strategy, direct the team to achieve the organizational goals, and establish new markets for export business growth.

Job Responsibilities
  • Work closely in developing the Export Business Strategy
  • Identify New Markets for Exports and make a detailed plan to enter those markets
  • Direct the Export Team in International markets to align with the export plan & strategies
  • Regularly conduct meetings with Sales Reps, guiding and coaching them
  • Accompany Sales Reps in International Markets for Key Account meetings, Big Projects
  • Guide the exports team to bring timely closures to the ongoing projects
  • Work closely with Marketing for International Exhibitions / Trade shows participation
  • Review the performance of the export team with the sales head
  • Arrange training programs on-line / off-line for the Export Team
  • Monitor & control the expenses of the Export Team in International locations
  • Prepare and monitor KPI's for the Export Team along with the sales head.
  • Appointment of Agents-Distributor partners in target markets globally
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain team for global logistics requirements
  • Must be well-versed with the regulations, product registrations, and certifications that are essentially required to export in the specific target markets
  • Must understand the competitive technologies and communicate them efficiently with the R&D dept.
  • Guide the export team technically with value propositions that are based on product attributes and technology benefits to the customers
Education & Qualifications
  • Chemical Engineer or a Bachelor's Degree in chemistry
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in the related field
  • Strong background in B2B Sales, especially selling RM to Paints & Coatings, Foam, PVC and Leather industry
  • Professional knowledge in sales, strategic planning and B2B sales strategies
  • Prior experience in African and European markets will be advantageous
