Facade Manager (Civil)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all façade works including curtain wall systems, cladding, glazing, and architectural features
• Review and ensure compliance of façade design with project specifications, local regulations, and international standards
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution
• Oversee shop drawing submissions, material approvals, mock-ups, and method statements
• Monitor site installation progress, quality control, and adherence to project schedule
• Conduct inspections and ensure proper testing (e.g., water, air infiltration, structural performance)
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to façade systems
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Support procurement activities related to façade materials and subcontractors
• Prepare reports and updates for senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in façade engineering/management, preferably in the UAE or GCC.
• Strong knowledge of façade systems, materials, and installation techniques
• Familiarity with local authority regulations and international façade standards
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on mid- to high-rise developments
• Background with leading contractors or façade specialists
• Proficiency in relevant software (AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, etc.)
