Factory & Operations Manager

Location: Africa


About the Role: The ideal candidate will have an ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business needs. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with different business units. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in related fields. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end factory operations, ensuring smooth and efficient production
  • Manage supply chain operations, including sourcing and availability of raw materials
  • Lead production planning and scheduling to meet business demand
  • Maintain tight control over inventory and cost efficiency
  • Coordinate closely with sales teams to align production with market demand
  • Supervise labor management, ensuring productivity and compliance
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency
  • Support commercial decision-making with a strong financial and analytical approach


Qualifications

  • 3–4 years of experience in a mid-management role with a strong finance background
  • 5–8 years of hands-on experience in factory / production / operations management
  • Strong understanding of supply chain, production cycles, and cost control
  • Commercially aware with the ability to balance operations with business outcomes
  • Proven ability to take ownership, solve problems, and lead from the front
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
