Family Assistant/Nanny

Family Assistant Job Description

We are looking for a kind, nurturing and reliable part-time Nanny/Family-Assistant who enjoys working with children and helping keep a home running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

-Assisting with childcare (engaging play, supervising, helping with routines)

-Light housekeeping (dishes, tidying common areas, laundry)

-Organizing (toys, closets, kitchen, and general home upkeep)

-Meal prep and cooking: Packing lunches/snacks for children Light meal planning is a plus

Additional opportunity: We would love to find someone who is also open to occasional additional hours for house sitting and pet care (dog sitting) when we are out of town.

Schedule & Compensation

2–3 weekdays, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (flexible on days) and an occasional date night or day date on the weekend for a few hours. I'm flexible on times as well.

Skills/Qualifications/Requirements

Reliable, trustworthy, and organized

• Enjoys cooking and preparing simple meals
• Self-starter who takes initiative
• Experience with young children preferred
• Must be able to work around animals
• Ability to multitask
• Organization skills
• Listening and communication skills
• Compassionate, reliable and trustworthy
• CPR and First-Aid certified

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour

Experience:

• Nannying: 2 years (Preferred)
• Toddler care: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Required)
