Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an FF&E Designer located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The FF&E Designer will be responsible for selecting, designing, and overseeing the furnishings, fixtures, and equipment for various projects. The role involves coordinating with clients and vendors, creating and presenting design proposals, and ensuring that all installations meet the high standards of LACASA. The designer will also collaborate closely with the architectural and engineering teams to achieve cohesive and innovative designs.


Qualifications & skills

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field.

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in FF&E design, procurement, and QA/QC processes.
  • Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, manufacturing methods, and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage FF&E selections and specifications.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines and budgets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop FF&E design concepts aligned with the overall interior design vision and client requirements.
  • Prepare mood boards, sample boards, and presentation materials for client review.
  • Select, specify, and document all furniture, fixtures, equipment, artwork, and accessories.
  • Create and maintain detailed FF&E schedules, specifications.
  • Source and liaise with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers, request quotations and samples.
  • Manage procurement, budgeting, and cost control for FF&E items.
  • Coordinate FF&E layouts with architectural and interior design drawings.
  • Ensure all specifications meet quality, safety, sustainability, and compliance standards.
  • Stay updated on market trends, materials, and innovative products.
  • Able to develop FF&E designs through all phases of work with minimal supervision of Senior Team leader/HOD.
  • Collaborate across sectors as required by project workload.
