Finance and Tax Manager

Sahiwal, Pakistan

Key Responsibilities

  • Taxation & Compliance:
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns (income tax, sales tax, withholding tax).
  • Manage tax audits and assessments, liaising with the FBR and other tax authorities.
  • Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Handle transfer pricing, tax provisioning, and reporting for financial closings.
  • Financial Management:
  • Oversee full-cycle accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop financial plans, budgets, and monitor performance against targets.
  • Auditing & Assurance:
  • Coordinate with external and internal auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.
  • Develop and implement internal financial controls and SOPs to mitigate risks.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and tax teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments on financial matters.
  • Provide guidance on the tax implications of business decisions.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) is often a mandatory qualification.
  • Experience: 10-15 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and taxation.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Pakistani tax laws (income tax, sales tax, withholding tax).
  • Proficiency with SAP.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs250,000.00 per month
