Accounting & Financial Management
- Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including payables, receivables, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Implement and maintain a chart of accounts suitable for both service and trading activities.
- Manage fixed assets register and depreciation schedules.
Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax regulations under FBR and provincial tax authorities.
- File all statutory returns (monthly sales tax, withholding tax, annual income tax, etc.) within due dates.
- Handle tax audits, assessments, and correspondence with regulatory bodies.
- Maintain compliance with Companies Act 2017 and SECP requirements (if applicable).
Budgeting, Costing & Analysis
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.
- Conduct cost analysis for service operations and trading activities to improve margins.
- Provide management reporting & KPIs to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor working capital (inventory, receivables, payables) and ensure liquidity.
Internal Controls & Systems
- Develop and enforce internal controls, SOPs, and financial policies.
- Ensure smooth operations of the ERP/
- Lead process improvements to increase efficiency in financial operations.
Treasury & Cash Flow Management
- Manage cash flow, bank facilities, and credit lines.
- Liaise with banks for LCs, guarantees, trade finance, and foreign remittances.
- Ensure efficient fund utilization and timely supplier/customer payments.
SKILLS
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, Pakistan tax laws, SECP regulations
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and MS Excel
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
