Finance Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finance Manager to lead a team and manager overall financial terms of the company.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Oversee preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts for each company and consolidated reporting.
• Analyze financial performance vs. budget; highlight risks, opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis for major business decisions.
  
  

Financial Reporting

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (group & individual entities) in accordance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and oversee the audit process.
• Present financial results and insights to the Board, Audit Committee, and stakeholders.
  
  

Accounting Oversight

• Supervise all accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and standards.
• Ensure proper management of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and intercompany transactions.
• Implement accounting best practices and continuous improvements in processes, systems, and reporting.
  
  

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure full compliance with tax regulations (Federal and Sindh/Provincial), SECP requirements, and other legal obligations.
• Design, implement, and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Regularly review and update financial policies, including delegation of authority, expense policies, and approval matrices.
  
  

Treasury & Cash Flow Management

• Lead treasury operations, including cash flow planning, liquidity management, banking relationships, and optimization of working capital.
• Supervise short- and long-term financing plans, ensuring availability of funds for growth initiatives.
• Oversee funding requirements, debt management, interest exposure, and investment strategies.
  
  

Systems & Process Improvements

• Drive automation and digitization of finance processes using ERP or accounting software.
• Evaluate financial systems and recommend technology upgrades to enhance efficiency.
• Implement robust reporting dashboards and monitoring tools.
  
  

Stakeholder Engagement

• Establish strong relationships with banks, auditors, tax authorities, legal advisors, and financial institutions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including operations, commercial, HR, IT, and legal.
• Provide financial insights to support business development, pricing, cost control, and contract negotiations.

- Strong knowledge of IFRS, FBR/Sindh revenue rules, corporate governance

- Ability to translate business goals into financial plans

- Proven experience managing multi-functional finance teams

Analytical Skills

- Skilled in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI development

ERP & Tech Savvy

-Experience with finance systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Sage)

Communication

-Clear, concise reporting to executives/stakeholders

Risk Management

-Ability to identify and mitigate financial & operational risks

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

• MBA (Finance) or equivalent professional degree.
  
  

Preferred Experience

• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance & accounts.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role, ideally across multiple entities.
• Experience in a diversified business group or conglomerate.
• Exposure to international financial reporting standard.
