Finance Manager

About the Role:
The Finance Manager will play a critical leadership role in overseeing the organization’s financial planning, reporting, compliance, and overall financial performance. This position is responsible for ensuring the company maintains strong financial health through effective budgeting, cash flow management, cost control, and strategic financial planning. The Finance Manager will work closely with senior management to provide financial insights, support business decisions, identify financial risks, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements. The role also involves managing daily finance operations, improving financial processes, and leading the finance team to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Develop and monitor budgets while implementing cost control measures to improve profitability.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, banks, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to support business growth and decision-making.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions when required.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation for audits and reporting purposes.
  • Improve financial systems, controls, and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team to ensure high performance and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred.
  • 10–12 years of proven experience in finance, accounting, or financial management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, compliance, and audit processes.
  • Experience managing corporate finances across multiple business functions.
  • Familiarity with local financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
