Financial Analyst

Job Purpose:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing financial forecasts, and supporting corporate planning and investment decision-making. The role involves evaluating financial performance, conducting feasibility studies for new projects, and providing insights to support strategic and operational business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis

• Analyze financial statements including assets, liabilities, and capital structures.
• Prepare projected financial statements such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow forecasts.
• Conduct variance analysis and identify financial performance trends.
• Prepare financial reports to support management decision-making.

Corporate Planning

• Assist in the preparation of short- and long-term financial plans.
• Support business planning and budgeting processes.
• Monitor financial performance against company objectives and KPIs.
• Provide recommendations to improve financial efficiency and cost management.

Investment & Project Evaluation

• Perform financial feasibility studies for new projects and investments.
• Conduct financial modeling and valuation analysis.
• Analyze capital expenditure and operational expenditure proposals.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnership evaluations.

Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare reports related to financial performance, investments, and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor compliance with financial covenants and debt agreements.
• Ensure financial reports align with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and analytical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Master’s Degree in Finance or MBA (preferred).

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate finance, financial analysis, or corporate planning.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: QAR11,000.00 per month
