Fit-Out Supervisor

Job Description:

Ø Support the project manager with expert advice for installation planning.

Ø Support the project manager where needed to take site surveys and actual dimensions.

Ø Prepare job specific tools and installation material prior to start of installation.

Ø Organise necessary travel arrangements also for the installation team according to the planned budgets and regional requirements.

Ø Carry out installation brief meeting with Project Manager and Project Technician

Ø Ensure all installation documents (drawings, layouts, elevations, etc) will be available on site in hardcopy.

Ø Coordinate with project manager & logistics department to confirm delivery schedule according to site requirements and actual progress on site.

Ø Organise together with the project manager for all necessary unloading and site logistics equipment (fork lift, pump trucks, scaffolding, step ladder, etc)

Ø Facilitate and supervise safe unloading operations to bring goods to site.

Ø Sign delivery documents and flag any transport damages in a formal report to form the basis of a potential insurance claim.

Ø Comply with site induction and site safety processes & procedures and ensure the installation team complies too.

Ø Carry out daily toolbox talks and record attendees and topics.

Ø Provide frequent feedback to the project manager about actual installation progress and any further requirements.

Ø Manage a local team of labour, carpenters and/or fitters on all required installations.

Ø Document progress and quality of installed goods and ensure they are protected until official handover meeting to the client.

Ø Substitute if necessary the Project/Account Manager to fill out official handover report together with the client and communicate any additional requirements in a clear format

Ø Carry out snagging works and customer service / maintenance visits when instructed.re required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, or similar.
• Driver's License
• Experience in Interior Fit Out or similar roles.
• Additional certificates or licenses may be required.
• Minimum 3–5 years UAE experience in interior fit-out projects (retail/office).
• Strong knowledge of drawings, finishes, joinery, and MEP coordination.
• Ability to manage site works, subcontractors, and ensure quality & safety at site.
• Mall fit-out/PTW experience. Valid UAE driving license.
