Fleet & Maintenance Supervisor – Job Description Position Summary

The Fleet & Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and operational readiness of the company’s vehicle fleet. This role combines technical oversight with team leadership, ensuring that all vehicles are serviced efficiently, comply with regulations, and support uninterrupted business operations.

Key Responsibilities Fleet Oversight

• Supervise daily fleet operations and vehicle assignments
• Monitor fuel usage, mileage, and vehicle performance
• Coordinate vehicle inspections, registrations, and insurance renewals

Maintenance Management

• Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance and repairs
• Manage emergency breakdowns and roadside assistance
• Maintain accurate records of service intervals, part replacements, and tire rotations

Team Supervision

• Lead a team of mechanics and technicians
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure quality standards
• Train staff on safety procedures and maintenance best practices

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure adherence to local and federal safety regulations
• Analyze maintenance costs and recommend fleet upgrades or replacements
• Prepare reports on fleet utilization, downtime, and cost efficiency

Inventory & Vendor Coordination

• Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs or services
• Track procurement and usage of maintenance supplies

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Automotive Technology, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in fleet maintenance or transport operations
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repair procedures, and safety standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs55,000.00 per month
