Job Purpose

To assist in supervising and coordinating site activities under the guidance of a Senior Foreman or Site Engineer, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of aluminium glazing and façade works.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Assistance & Coordination

• Support daily façade installation activities (aluminium, glazing, cladding, curtain wall)
• Assign tasks to site workers and chargehands as directed
• Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are prepared for daily operations

2. Quality & Compliance Support

• Assist in checking work quality and adherence to project specifications
• Report defects or issues to the Senior Foreman/Site Engineer
• Coordinate with the logistics team for daily material requirements
• Ensure proper protection of stored and installed materials

3. Progress & Productivity

• Monitor task progress and report updates
• Promote efficient use of materials and manpower

4. Safety & Housekeeping

• Enforce basic safety rules and ensure PPE compliance
• Maintain clean and organized work areas

5. Learning & Development

• Gain hands-on experience in façade installation techniques
• Learn to read and interpret shop drawings and technical details

Skills & Requirements

• Experience: 2–5 years in aluminium glazing/façade works (installation preferred)
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of aluminium systems, glass handling, sealants, and façade accessories
• Skills:
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Basic leadership to guide small teams
• Good communication and coordination
• Education: High school diploma or technical training in a relevant trade (preferred)
• Safety: Basic site safety training is an advantage
