Manages all aspects of individual and corporate customers of NMCSH-Al Ain.
Manages all new avenues of service provision of the hospital.
Monitoring all Front Office Executives in coordination with Front Office Supervisor.
Manages and ensure proper functioning and continuous improvement in their services.
Monitoring all information desk personnel.
Take corrective action in situation requiring immediate intervention, including interpretation and administration of hospital policy and work rules.
Intervene and problem solves for inter-/intra-departmental issues. Facilitate interdepartmental communication, negotiation and decision – making.
Obtain adequate facts and evaluates data to identify and intervene in actual and/or potential safety and risk management issues.
Document pertinent information, actions and decisions and communicates to appropriate leadership.
Communicate issues identified by front line staff to appropriate administrative team related to new administrative or departmental initiatives.
Ensuring that all reports and deliverables are submitted on due dates.
Collaborate with clinical and support staff to foster delivery of quality care.
Maintain visibility with hospital staff through rounds.
Assist in evaluating and reassigning staff during crisis situations.
Provide on-site management of crisis situations to prevent or minimize disruption of services.
Optimize resources to maintain facility operations.
Monitor emergency action procedures and coordinate activities related to patient/staff evacuation as needed.
Supports continuous Quality improvement. Develops and promotes appropriate standards of care.
Ensure that there is compliance with the JCI & ISO requirements.
Provides direction for the hospital and ensures that corporate vision, mission and objectives are fulfilled. Inculcates and cultivates corporate values.
Demonstrates ability to see the big picture in terms of the strategic operational plan and the ability to monitor and direct processes to fulfil such plans.
Maintains confidentiality regarding patient information and regarding administrative matters of confidential nature.
Develops and promotes a fair administrative environment which is unbiased and apolitical.
Support clinical, operational and facility services throughout the entire hospital.
Serves on administrative and other hospital committees as requested.
OSH ROLES AND RESPONSIBLITIES :
GENERAL:
3.26 Responsible to be familiarize, comply and implement the OSHAD-SF& NMCSH Al Ain Internal OSHMS policies and procedures/SOP’s relevant to their department.
3.27 Staff should notify/report all OSHMS hazards, incidents, accidents and near misses within the premises of NMCSH Al Ain to their supervisor or department OSH Facilitator as per the incident reporting protocol of NMCSH Al Ain.
3.28 Staff are responsible to assist with the preparation of departmental risk assessment activities and implement the control measure within the timeframe.
3.29 Staff are responsible to attend applicable department OSHMS training.
3.30 Staff are not allowed to tamper or misuse any NMCSH Al Ain equipment’s and its property.
3.31 Comply with all OSH instructions, safe working procedures and signages within the premises of NMCSH-Al Ain.
3.32 Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedure.
3.33 Not willfully or recklessly endanger anyone's health and safety;
3.34 Make proper use of all machinery, tools, substances, etc., safety systems and of all Personal Protective Equipment provided for use at work.
3.35 Participate in required OSH inspection, audit and OSH monitoring programs.
SPECIFIC:
3.36 Develop and implement appropriate OSH Management by ensuring OSH management systems are in place and operating effectively.
3.37 Ensure implementation of applicable DOH OSHMS internal/external OSHMS policies, standards and procedures/SOPs.
3.38 Designating an OSH facilitators who is responsible for coordinating all OSHMS activities within the department. OSH facilitators should be designated.
3.39 Provides a workplace safety induction to all staff in accordance with OSH training requirements.
3.40 Communicating and distributing OSH relevant information to department personnel in a timely manner after the information has been released by EHSMS Department and OSH Committee.
3.41 Ensure to allocate responsibility for OSH management and delegation of authorities
3.42 Ensure adequate resources and budget for OSH management
3.43 Ensure appropriate OSH supervision of employees.
3.44 Ensure appropriate hazards and incident investigation.
3.45 Regularly discuss OSH issues at meeting of departments, management
3.46 Ensure Implementation and monitor the effectiveness of the risk management program at NMCSH, Al Ain.
3.47 Ensure that NMCSH, Al Ain has effective systems for the provision of OSH information, training and supervision.
3.48 Ensure that NMCSH, Al Ain has appropriate emergency procedure are developed.
3.49 Ensure that annually OSH Competency Assessment is conducted for all departmental staff, by evaluating the skills of staff. An action plan and competency records shall be maintained by as per the ADM-EHS-P014-12 OSH competency procedure.
KPI OWNER
Monitors the JAWDA KPIS.
Appoint the Quality collector.
Ensures to comply with JAWDA regulations as their review & updates.
Provides continuous feedback to Management & Quality Dept. to help them make decisions and continuously improve their JAWDA KPI reporting.
Ensure to attendance and provide feedback to Management Review related to JAWDA indicators.
Ensure that corrective & preventive action plan completion within the specified timeframe.
Review and submit the JAWDA indicators to Quality dept. within the timeframe.
Ensure to communicate to quality dept. on any changes in source or requirements related to JAWDA indicates.
Adhere to information systems policies and procedures as required by Health Care Organization.
Ensure that documentation in the health record reflects accuracy, integrity and authenticity
Follow security and privacy policies and procedures to the use of networks, including intranet and Internet.
Follow confidentiality and security measures to protect electronic health information.
Maintain data integrity and validity within an information system.
Report any possible breaches of confidentiality in accordance with organizational policies.
Apply departmental and organizational data and information system security policies
Use basic word processing, spreadsheet and desktop presentation applications as applicable to your work.
Demonstrate proficiency in Windows operating environment.
Demonstrate use of email, addressing, forwarding, attachments, netiquette.

OSH ROLES AND RESPONSIBLITIES :
Three years Bachelor’s degree preferably in commerce or administration required.
An MBA in administration is preferable.
Two years or more in health management positions with demonstrated administrative skills.
Excellent command over oral and written English.
Must be well versed with Word and Excel.
