Full Charge Bookkeeper

Part-Time Bookkeeper – Real Estate Investment Company and Brokerage
Growing real estate investment company seeking a part-time Full Charge Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks experience. Must be detail-oriented and comfortable managing finances for multiple LLC’s.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full cycle of bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
  • Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy in debits and credits while maintaining double-entry bookkeeping standards
  • Reconcile balance sheets and perform account analysis to verify financial data integrity
  • Track income/expenses by property (job costing)
  • Reconcile accounts and manage bill pay
  • Track loans, draws, and project costs
  • Prepare monthly reports (P&L by property)
  • Keep books organized for CPA/tax prep
  • Identify and flag potential deductions or financial inconsistencies
  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements
  • Assist with budgeting processes and prepare financial reports that support strategic planning and operational decisions

Qualifications:

  • QuickBooks experience (required)
  • Real estate or construction bookkeeping preferred
  • Experience with job costing and able to handle books for multiple LLCs
  • Organized, reliable, able to work independently, and communicate clearly
  • Experience with tax preparation support and payroll processing
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced enviroment

Details:

  • Part-time (~1 day/week, flexible)
  • Office in Mashpee, Massachusetts preferred (open to remote)

Pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour
