General Accountant

We're Hiring: General Accountant

Location: Defence Mor Walton Road, Lahore (On-site)
Shift: Monday to Friday | 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Salary: PKR Open Budget

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Record, review, and reconcile daily financial transactions.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ year of experience in a General Accountant role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with account reconciliations and financial reporting.
