GENERAL FOREMAN -CIVIL

We are seeking an experienced General Foreman with at least 2 years of UAE experience in high-rise construction, preferably with contracting companies. The successful candidate will oversee all on-site activities, ensure work is executed to the highest quality, and maintain safety standards throughout the duration of major high-rise building projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction site activities for high-rise projects.
• Allocate general and daily responsibilities to work crews and subcontractors, ensuring workforce and resources are utilized efficiently.
• Interpret and implement technical drawings, blueprints, and project plans.
• Monitor progression of project tasks, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Enforce strict adherence to all safety protocols and quality standards.
• Oversee the use, storage, and maintenance of materials, tools, and equipment on-site.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks; address any noncompliance or incidents.
• Produce schedules, monitor crew attendance, and maintain attendance records.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and consultants for smooth workflow.
• Solve site-based problems swiftly to minimize delays.
• Report progress and site issues to higher management and attend periodic site meetings.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years UAE experience as a General Foreman in high-rise construction with a contracting company.
• Proven expertise in supervising large multi-disciplinary teams (civil, MEP, finishing, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and shop drawings.
• In-depth knowledge of construction safety practices and local UAE regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
• Technical proficiency with modern construction practices and machinery.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent preferred.
• Good spoken and written English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

Additional Details

• Full-time role based on construction sites across the UAE.
• Accommodation and transport will often be provided as per company policy.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
