Oakwood Carpentry is looking for a General Manager.
Duties:
- The General Manager will be responsible for leading the current management team and delivering the company's future plans in line with the vision of the Group.
- The GM will suggest a long-term growth strategy and present to the management current, short term, and long-term business plans.
- To deliver on increasing Sales, Brand Equity and customer loyalty within the UAE and look at expanding into any potential markets outside the UAE.
- To manage resources in an optimum manner and motivate the team to achieve and exceed set goals.
- To scale up the operations in line with planned growth by adopting best practices and leveraging technology.
Requirements & Skills
- Proven success in a managerial role
- Strong decision-making ability
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
- Proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans
- Ability to motivate and lead employees, and hold them accountable
- Strong working knowledge of operational procedures
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business management or related field
- Experience in conducting performance evaluations
- Working knowledge of human-resources processes
