General Manager – International Markets

For more than 35 years, Eren Perakende has been uniting world-renowned brands with consumers in Turkey. In 1990, the company partnered with Devanlay to begin the licensed production and distribution of Lacoste in Turkey. Since then, Eren Perakende has taken on the distributorship of global brands such as Burberry, Gant, Nautica, and Converse.


In 2008, the company launched its own retail concept with Occasion stores, followed by the introduction of the innovative SuperStep store concept in 2012. Embracing a multi-channel strategy in 2020, Eren Perakende expanded its online sales network and redefined the shopping experience through House of SuperStep, transforming retail into an experience-driven model. Expanding its brand portfolio with names like Intersport, SuperKids, Fashfed, United4, Sanal Çadır and HeartBeat, Eren Perakende now operates in 25 countries, with over 8,000 employees, nearly 700 stores, and 17 digital platforms..


We are looking for a dynamic and visionary General Manager – International Markets to lead and grow our global business outside of Turkey. The role will be based in Istanbul HQ , with direct responsibility for international markets across Eastern Europe, Ukraine, CIS, Russia regions.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field,
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in retail, including at least 10 years in an executive leadership role within a multinational role,
  • Proven expertise in international expansion, store opening processes, P&L management, and omni-channel strategy,
  • Strong commercial and financial knowledge, with experience in investment planning and operational excellence,
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills,
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in an additional Russian language is a strong asset,
  • Knowledge of regions and emerging markets retail landscape is an advantage.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Lead and manage all international operations, excluding Turkey, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy,
  • Oversee Country Managing Directors and functional leaders across multiple markets, ensuring consistent execution and financial performance,
  • Drive market entry strategies, store expansion, and retail investments across regions,
  • Ensure seamless integration between retail, e-commerce, supply chain, merchandising, and marketing teams,
  • Represent the company at Board level, reporting on financial results, market risks, and growth opportunities,
  • Monitor KPIs and identify areas for improvement to ensure sustainable growth,
  • Act as an ambassador for Eren Perakende’s brand values in global markets,
  • Foster a performance-driven culture aligned with agility, innovation, trust, and data-driven leadership.
