About the Role
A prestigious French Club in Islamabad is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager Operations to lead and oversee all operational aspects of the club. The ideal candidate must have prior club management experience, strong leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills to ensure exceptional member experiences and smooth day-to-day operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to manage teams, maintain service excellence, and uphold high hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee overall club operations, ensuring smooth and efficient daily functioning
- Ensure high standards of member services, hospitality, and guest experience
- Manage and supervise operations, administration, and service teams
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and service standards
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor facility maintenance, cleanliness, and operational readiness across the club
- Plan and execute member events, activities, and engagement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards
- Manage vendor coordination, procurement, and service quality monitoring
- Prepare operational reports and support management in strategic decision-making
- Maintain strong communication with members to address feedback and improve satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience as a General Manager Operations, Club Manager, or Operations Head in a reputable club environment
- Mandatory club operations experience (social club, sports club, or hospitality club setting)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple operational functions efficiently
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Islamabad-based candidate or willing to work in Islamabad
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing member-based clubs or international hospitality environments
- Strong exposure to event coordination and member engagement activities
- Ability to develop and implement service excellence frameworks
- Experience handling vendors, facilities, and administrative operations effectively
