Role Summary

The GRN Executive is responsible for accurately receiving, verifying, and documenting all incoming inventory at the dark store. This role ensures stock integrity, timely processing of GRNs in the ERP system, and smooth coordination between the commercial, warehouse, and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Receiving & Verification

Receive all incoming stock from suppliers in coordination with warehouse staff.

Verify quantities, product quality, batch numbers, expiry dates, and packaging against supplier invoices & purchase orders.

Report any discrepancies (short/over deliveries, damages, wrong items) immediately to Commercial and Warehouse Manager.

2. GRN Creation & Documentation

Create accurate GRNs in ERP/ZOHO on the same day.

Ensure proper documentation of invoices, delivery challans, and supplier slips.

Maintain an organized filing system for all GRN-related documents.

3. Coordination

Liaise with the Commercial Team for PO clarifications or rate mismatches.

Coordinate with Finance to ensure timely vendor payments after GRN approvals.

Communicate issues proactively with Warehouse Manager (e.g., delays, shortages, damaged goods).

4. Stock Integrity

Ensure all inward stock is updated in the system before binning.

Support cycle counts and stock audits by providing accurate GRN data.

Help prevent stock variances by ensuring correct quantities are booked at the time of receipt.

5. Compliance & Reporting

Follow GrocerApp SOPs for receiving goods and GRN processing.

Prepare daily/weekly GRN and discrepancy reports.

Support audit requirements related to supplier bills and stock movements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs45,000.00 per month
