Role Overview
As Head of Sales, you will own and drive all revenue-generating sales activities related to the U.S.–PAK Rise Summit 2026. You will lead strategic outreach to sponsors, exhibitors, partners, and delegates, build a high-performance sales team, and partner with marketing to convert opportunities into confirmed registrations, sponsorships, and global partnerships. Success in this role means building a robust revenue pipeline that ensures the summit’s growth, visibility, and measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute the global sales strategy for delegates, sponsors, exhibitors, and strategic partners.
- Set and track quarterly and annual sales targets tied to summit goals.
- Identify new market segments and revenue streams (corporate, institutional, diaspora networks, chambers of commerce, trade bodies).
Revenue Growth & Conversion
- Lead the end-to-end sales process: prospecting, pitching, negotiation, contracting, and closing.
- Convert leads into high-value bookings — delegates, exhibitors, startup pitches, and sponsorship packages.
- Work closely with marketing to maximize conversion rates and refine messaging.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and mentor a results-driven sales team.
- Set clear performance KPIs, monitor progress, and drive continuous improvement.
- Foster collaboration between sales, marketing, and summit operations teams.
Global Outreach & Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with international and local sponsors, chambers of commerce, institutional partners, and strategic allies.
- Represent the summit in key markets, industry events, and business communities.
- Guide personalized outreach and engagement for high-level stakeholders.
Data & Reporting
- Analyze sales performance, pipeline metrics, and revenue forecasts.
- Deliver regular reports to executive leadership with actionable insights.
- Use CRM systems to manage leads, track engagement, and optimize follow-up.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Essential
- 6+ years of sales leadership experience in events, B2B partnerships, global summits, trade shows, or international business development.
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding revenue targets and scaling sales operations.
- Excellent communicator, negotiator, and relationship builder across industries and cultures.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven sales decision making.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.
Preferred
- Experience with international trade events, export-oriented platforms, or global networking summits.
- Familiarity with U.S. and Pakistan business ecosystems and cross-border collaboration.
- Experience managing remote or hybrid sales teams.
- Multilingual or international market experience.
