Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and assisting with seating arrangements or waitlist management
• Manage reservations and coordinate seating to optimize flow and reduce wait times
• Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person with clear communication and friendly professionalism
• Operate POS system Toast to process payments accurately and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a tidy environment at all times
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring guests feel valued

Experience

• Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service setting preferred
• Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with POS system Toast is a plus
• Experience in hospitality or hotel guest services enhances your ability to connect with diverse guests
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving etiquette, and phone etiquette is advantageous
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
