Duties

• Operate industrial laundry machines to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest uniforms with precision and care
• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
• Perform dry cleaning procedures for delicate or special fabric items as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to promote safety and efficiency
• Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary
• Follow all safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment operation
• Assist with delivering clean linens to designated hotel departments promptly and accurately

Skills

• Proven experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping preferred
• Strong knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure all items meet quality standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and moving heavy loads throughout shifts
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures related to laundry operations
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and hotel staff
