HR Associate

Purpose of Position:
The HR Associate will assist with recruitment, training, employee relations, and compliance to ensure an engaged, efficient, and high-performing team that contributes to exceptional guest experiences and smooth restaurant operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the full recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Ensure all employee records, contracts, and HR documentation are accurately maintained and up to date.
  • Support the coordination and delivery of training programs for new and existing staff.
  • Assist in preparing and processing payroll data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Monitor staff attendance, scheduling, and timekeeping, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Assist in addressing employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances in a professional and timely manner.
  • Help ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations relevant to the restaurant industry.
  • Collaborate with management to plan staff recognition events, meetings, and performance reviews.
  • Prepare HR reports and assist with audits, policy updates, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff and management.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in HR information systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain composure in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Professional demeanor with a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing operational needs and work schedules, including weekends or evenings if required.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations and hospitality industry standards.
  • Prior experience in HR or administrative support within the restaurant or hospitality industry preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month
