HR Manager

Islamabad, Pakistan

Tandoori is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead and oversee all human resource functions across its restaurant branches and business units. The HR Manager will play a critical role in shaping workplace culture, driving employee engagement, ensuring compliance, and supporting operational efficiency. This role requires a hands-on leader capable of developing strategic HR initiatives while effectively managing daily HR operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Strategy & Policy Development

· Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with Tandoori’s business objectives.

· Serve as a strategic advisor to management on workforce planning, organizational structure, and employee relations.

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

· Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding of staff for both head office and restaurant branches.

· Collaborate with department heads to identify hiring needs and maintain manpower levels.

Performance Management

· Implement and manage performance appraisal systems to support employee development and accountability.

· Guide managers on goal setting, KPIs, and performance improvement plans.

Training & Development

· Identify training needs and develop programs for skill enhancement, compliance, and leadership development.

· Organize onboarding sessions, workshops, and continuous learning initiatives.

Employee Relations & Engagement

· Foster a positive and inclusive work environment through employee engagement activities and open communication.

· Address employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and resolve workplace conflicts in a timely and fair manner.

HR Operations & Compliance

· Ensure maintenance of accurate HR records, contracts, attendance, and leave management systems.

· Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.

· Manage payroll coordination and HR documentation in collaboration with finance/admin teams.

Compensation & Benefits

· Support the development of fair and competitive salary structures and benefit programs.

· Manage employee insurance, incentives, and other welfare initiatives.

Reporting & HR Analytics

· Prepare and present HR metrics and reports on turnover, hiring trends, absenteeism, and workforce analytics to management.

· Use data to make informed HR decisions and continuous improvements.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

· 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.

· Experience in the hospitality, food service, or retail industry is highly preferred.

· Sound understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.

· High integrity, discretion, and emotional intelligence.

· Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.

Other Requirements:

· Flexibility to travel across branches when required.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-location work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
