Working Hours: Eastern European Standard Time (EET): 2:30PM to 11:30PM

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee our overseas teams, oversee the recruitment/open positions HR team, and drive people operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to balance strong follow-through with empathy, accountability, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee overseas teams (all hires), including performance, engagement, and day-to-day HR support for a fully remote workforce.
  • Lead and develop the recruitment/open positions HR team, managing pipelines, sourcing, and full-cycle hiring for multiple roles.
  • Ensure consistent use of existing HR processes and propose new or improved processes to support scale and efficiency.
  • Conduct uncomfortable conversations (performance, behavior, policy) with clarity, empathy, and firmness.
  • Hold team members and managers accountable to expectations, metrics, and deadlines.
  • Lead salary negotiations and offers, working within budget and internal equity guidelines.
  • Own employee review cycles, including timelines, templates, feedback collection, and follow-up on action plans.
  • Create and/or coordinate team-building initiatives and engagement activities tailored to remote and overseas teams.
  • Maintain and refine onboarding programs; regularly update processes, pre-start checklists, first-week plans, and check-in schedules; and propose enhancements to improve new hire experience and retention.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, documentation, and status tracking for all hires and open roles.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR role with direct responsibility for both recruitment and employee relations.
  • Experience managing or supporting overseas and/or fully remote teams.
  • Experience overseeing a small HR or recruitment team (or function), including delegation and follow-up.
  • Demonstrated track record of strong follow-through on tasks, communication, and commitments.
  • Proven ability to handle difficult conversations and hold others accountable while maintaining trust.
  • Hands-on experience with salary negotiations, performance reviews, and onboarding.
